Many homeowners will lose their fire insurance, and property values will decrease. RAMMB is a grassroots organization that aims to have the State clear the Caltrans Devil’s Slide Bypass ROW, the most significant midcoast fire hazard that could lead to the next Pacific Palisades fire. Before the State took over in the 1980s by eminent domain, the ROW mainly was open fields and meadows.
