This is disturbing news: We have learned from a reliable source that all Caltrans promises about fire mitigation on the ROW have been misleading. Their walk-through with a State Fire Marshall only included four properties that Caltrans rents out to individuals or businesses. None of the promises they have made in their emails to us pertain to the entire 100 acres of the ROW. We are being played! We need to barrage our State Senator and Representative with letters of complaint. RAMMB is currently working on a website to make it easy for everyone to contact elected officials.
